Over-egging the pudding of good taste, Thumpermonkey shake up an ill-advised cocktail of post-metal sludge, Bowie-esque warcries and mathematics homework; dropping in a brine-tinged olive of 70's progressive rock, and finishing it off with a gaudy little umbrella.

Described variously in the press as: "a mad symphony of the bizarre"; "David Bowie meets Napalm Death"; "a bunch of fuckin' loons dickin' about"; and "very English"; Thumpermonkey have been writing and recording in various line-ups since 2001.

Their latest album, "We Break Our Bread Beneath Her Holy Fire" is released on Genin Records in September 2010.
